Yoga, Feathers, and Fur

I've started doing my yoga in the mornings again. I had lost my routine after we went on our cruise in December, but now that school has started again, I'm getting back into it. 

I feel so much more energized when I do my yoga every morning, and I find it really helps me stay focused throughout the rest of the day. Also, I get a little gift every morning. My little chickadees always swoop in for their breakfast, and every time I see them, my heart swoops right along with them. I could sit and watch them all day. 

I loaded a short video I took a couple months ago. I hope the quality isn't too bad.

They are very brave, too. When I'm outside, they let me get super close to them. I'm hoping some day they will trust me enough to feed from my hand. And if they do, oh yes, there will be pictures! lol

Here's another thing that always makes me smile. Just look at that face. :)

  1. Whenever the weather is nice (and sometimes when it isn't) I skip the break room at work and take my lunch to a little park nearby. I've been going there for so long that the birds there have become very friendly with me. They land on the picnic table to peck at crumbs while I eat, and some of them will take bits of bread crust from my hand. For a while there was one especially bold fellow that would occasionally land on my knee! He's the only wild bird I've ever met that would do that, and I've met some pretty brave birds.
